Q: What is a microfiche?
A: It is a 4" x 6" (11cm x 16 cm) flat piece of microfilm plastic used for storage of micro sized text and or photographic images in a grid pattern.
Cards are read with a microfiche reader which magnify the image back to its original size and project it onto a reader screen. Most local libraries will allow you to use their microfiche readers and print to paper. They normally charge a small fee to print to paper.
